Last year the gta Archive opened its Modell-/Schaulager containing architectural models from a large variety of periods, types and materials. This tour looks at the highlights of the collection of Arbeits-, Entwurfs-, Wettbewerbs- und Stadtmodelle. It examines the architectural model not only as historical artefakt, but as crucial part of architectural education, design processes, and interdisciplinary communication.
