Karl Moser (1860–1936) is one of the formative figures of early modernism. His immense oeuvre comprises almost 600 buildings and projects as well as all genres from residential buildings to residential and urban development. His buildings can be found not only in Zurich, but also in Aarau, Basel, Wik near Kiel or Frankfurt am Main. The two-volume monograph with a complete catalogue of works, 111 selected projects and essays on various aspects of his work was published on his 150th birthday as the result of a research project lasting several years.
